NFL Punt, Pass and Kick Competition is coming to Springville

ON THE BIG SCREEN – West Valley’s Kaitlyn Snayczuk passes on the big screen at last year’s competition.
The NFL’s Punt, Pass and Kick Competition is coming to the Pop Warner Field at Springville-Griffith Institute High School on Aug. 11 at 11 a.m.The event is free and open to young people aged 6 – 15. Boys and girls will compete in separate divisions and there will also be separate age group divisions.
The top winners from each age bracket will qualify to compete at a local, sectional competition.
The top four finishers from each sectionals age bracket will advance to compete at a Buffalo Bills home game at Ralph Wilson Stadium.
The winners from this competition will have the chance to compete at an NFL playoff game, if their scores are among the top four first place finishes across the NFL team championship competitions.
Parties interested in the event can register at www.nflppk.com and enter their zip codes on the main page. Click on the “register” link on the location nearest the Springville-Griffith Institute Central High School.
Springville Little League Bills and Colts and S-GI Griffins merchandise will be available at the concessions stand during the event as well as refreshments and a raffle. Proceeds will benefit Springville Little League football.
