Cascade Lanes to host Boys & Girls Club bowl-a-thon

SPRINGVILLE –– Cascade Lanes and Tim and Bonnie’s Pizza will host the Boys & Girls Club Bowl-A-Thon on Friday, Sept. 14. Youth teams will bowl from 4 – 5:30 p.m., followed by an adult bowling session from 6 – 8:30 p.m.
Teams will consist of four bowlers. Each team will bowl two games. Following the bowling, all of the bowlers will receive pizza and drinks.
Teams can collect pledges for participation and prizes will be awarded to the individual and team that raises the most money. Second and third place prizes will also be awarded.
Prizes will include an Apple iPad®, Kindle Fire®, gift cards and more.
Club Director Mike Basehart said, “There is still time to register a team. It should be a fun Friday at the lanes. This is a great opportunity for businesses to have a team-building social night out and raise money for the Boys & Girls Club, at the same time. For those not able to participate, you can sponsor a youth team or donate prizes to be awarded to the bowlers.”
