Springville football teams battle each other at home

After the Colts fumbled on their first drive, the Bills capitalized on it and delivered quarterback Liam Raiber for a touchdown for a 6 – 0 lead. Ashton Hoch ran for a 65-yard touchdown run, to bring the Bills to 16 – 0. Throughout the rest of the game, Hoch continued to deliver to keep the Bills on top.
Colts player Collin Rice’s first run, in the first quarter, was a 15-yarder that was called back on a penalty. The Colts the fumbled another time, to give the ball to the Bills.
Near the end of the first quarter, Hoch ran in for a touchdown. Rice headed to the end zone, but, while running to the outside in the second quarter, his foot went out of bounds. But, during that drive, he ran 42 yards. Attempts by the Colts to score were unsuccessful and the Bills took over and ended the half.
Nicholas Emmich gave the Colts their first score of the game, when he broke away for a 41-yard rushing touchdown. The extra point attempt was good and the Bills saw their lead cut to 24 – 8. Robert Smith brought in the touchdown and the Bills’ lead was increased to 30 – 8.
Rice caught a 42-yard pass and scored, bringing the score to 30 – 16.
This home-versus-home game ended with a Bills win 30 – 16.
