5K race in Little Valley Sept. 23

The Little Valley Lions Club's annual "David Campbell 5K Run/Walk" will be held on Sunday, Sept. 23 at the Little Valley American Legion on Route 353 at 10 a.m.
Registration will begin at 9 a.m. There is a fee for the event. Snacks, beverage and hats will be available for participants. There will be gift certificates for the winners in categories this year.
The fund raiser will benefit "Vision Beyond Sight" and also help with local sight needs. "Vision Beyond Sight" is a Lions Foundation set up through all district Lions as part of the "Ross Eye Institute in Buffalo" and the "Lions Diagnostic Center" there. Many area adults and children go there for help with sight needs.
The institute combines research, treatment and education. Lion Dr. James D. Reynolds and fellow residents will participate.
