Two days later, the streak reached four games, after a 2 – 1 loss on the road against Ripley. MacKenzie Czapla had 10 service points and 4 aces, but could not help her team get the win. The record fell to 3 – 5.
The team has not won since defeating Ellicottville on Sept. 13. The girls played Clymer at home on Oct. 2. After that, the girls attempted to sweep the two-game season series with Ellicottville, with a road game, on Oct. 4. The next game for West Valley is slated for Oct. 9 against Sherman. That game will take place at home at 4:30 p.m.
