Springville graduate named athlete of the week at Canisius

The athlete won the 1-meter event, while setting the Canisius College Koessler Athletic Center pool record during the 3-meter against Binghamton on Dec. 2.
During the Cleveland Dual, which was hosted by Cleveland State on Dec. 4, the freshman set both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving school records.
In Cleveland, Mulhisen captured first in the 1-meter, with a score of 235.55, followed by a second-place performance in the 3-meter, by posting a tally of 250.65.
The freshman broke both of Golden Griffin Kaeli Abdo’s records, which stood since the 2007-08 season.
During the Golden Griffins’ home finale meet against The State University of New York-College at Geneseo at the KAC, Mulhisen also broke her own pool record, with a first place score of 257.55.
