Flynn led the Panthers by upsetting the number one seed in his weight class on his way to the crown. His string of victories helped Gowanda obtain a ninth-place finish.
Lucas McKeever and Cody Richter, who have both been the Panthers' most consistent wrestlers all season long, each brought home a third-place medal. Senior Ryan Dils took fourth place while Dave Poff, Vinny Thompson and Dalton Mills finished sixth in their respective weight class.

Each wrestler who wins his weight class plus wildcards that are selected by the record and strength of schedule will represent Section VI in the New York State Meet in Albany on Feb. 22 and 23.
Mark Leous, now in his 30th year coaching wrestling at Gowanda Central School was quite pleased with his overall team's performance. "It was an amazingly strong tournament for our team," he commented. Gowanda will have a majority of the wrestlers back for next season.
