Kenny Field

I have a problem with the fact that well over a million dollars in upgrades and improvements were made to Kenny field, When only 2 organizations are allowed to use it. Town tax dollars paid for all the work, the baseball/T-ball diamonds were taken out to make way for soccer fields, and a snack shack was erected. No money was spared to improve it, and the thing is, the 2 organizations have ties to one town coucilman. For many years friends of mine have played football on thanksgiving with friends, over the last couple years the police were sent there to tell the people they were trespassing. Since when is a town park off limits to anyone but these 2 organizations. Even the schools arent allowed to use it. Hoover middle doesn't have a home field, they have to use Crosby or Parker field. The high schools could have a top notch underthe lights field, but no. We paid for a private organization to play football or soccer with our tax dollars. While every town Dept has to cut their budgets, this politition gets an almost free field for a rental fee. how much do they rent it for, I highly doubt it will pay for all the improvements that have been done, and there's more to come. He know wants it to be a turf playing field. Get this guy out of office, Start letting people use it the way it should be.

Kenny Field

Thank you! More taxpayers need to be aware of the self interest spending of this councilman and his puppets. Everything this guy does seems to be of benefit to himself and his friends, not the taxpayers as a whole. Just look at the newer full time hires and who the ridiculous raises over the last few years went to. Friends of you know who, many football related friends. People need to attend more board meetings and start asking questions and DEMAND real answers. They're bragging about this new rain water system of theirs but does anyone know how many gallons of "free" unmetered water they use over at Kenny Field for the football field? Town taxpayers need to open their eyes and stop following this board blindly.

Councilmans Field

Did you know that Kenny Field is not listed on the Youth Parks and Rec site except as a veterans memorial. So I guess if you want to rent a shelter there you better call Mr. C directly and line his pockets YET AGAIN! If this location is no longer available to the public then I don't want my tax dollars contributing to it. Mr Kenny was such a concerned citizen, its a SHAME to discrace his memory by shutting out the public.
