To my mothers mailman

My mother has lived in her home for over 30 years. Her mailbox was always in the same place. Suddenly you demanded she move it, not once, but twice. Apparently, you are some sort of safety guy for the post office. She did and now we have a favor in return. How about you deliver the mail to the correct house and in a timely fashion? I know she’s not the only person in the neighborhood that would appreciate it. Thanks!

To my mothers mailman

As a former mailman carrier in my list of experiences in life I will tell you often mail carriers will make mistakes especially when the carrier is filling in on a route he/she is not use to they will make mistakes until they get use to the new area. As for safety inspections having people move their mail boxes seems more of making the job easier for the carrier, and not for safety reasons. Even on my own street I have to put up with up to 10 different carriers for the last year and a half. Now my new permanent carrier told me things will become smoother. Here’s a good tip always make your carriers job easier not harder.
