The oil pipeline from Canada would have gone to the gulf and the oil would have been shipped overseas. look it up before you complain

Senior Attitudes

Most of us in the generation following yours is grateful for the hard work the senior population has done. However, we work hard too! Those of us that are working give up a good chunk of our paycheck to fund the social security AND we have to save in a 401K and or IRA on our own because we are not even sure we will be able to collect on the money we pay into social security. We have to save in 2 different accounts! And some have to work longer to get the full benefit. There is no collecting at 65 for everyone. So, with all due respect, please at least recognize that the next generation have to give far more than a hard days work.

To the Motorcycle that almost ran over my daughter

This is to the ignorant jerk on the motorcycle who decided to ignore the stopped school bus with flashing lights and stop sign out. It's the law to stop for a school bus - you almost hit my six year old daughter today and then zipped by the bus while she was getting on it. You are the biggest scum of the earth. You are lucky you did not hit my daughter!! I dont care how late you are - you should consider the children around you and pay attention to when a school bus is stopped with their lights on!

Missed

Missed the point of not building it. 1 it only created TEMPORARY job's. Not permanent. 2. If the pipeline busted, the location of the pipeline was in major agricultural/city areas. This means that the ground water and food would have been contaminated and made it so that the area was no longer habitable or able to be used for crops. No we do not need a pipeline.
