Depews Double standards

Dear Village of Depew. Your Double standards are just intolerable. You ask people to keep their yards clean, and that we should present no dangers. You then Expect us to waste our gas in our lawn mower's to cut YOUR GRASS on YOUR SIDE OF THE SIDEWALK. but yet you refuse to replace the sidewalks that the trees that YOU PLANTED, and you maintain have destroyed. Every morning I go for my run and see what YOUR tree roots have done to the sidewalks. Then you have the audacity to tell the good people of this village that it is their responsibility to replace and maintain the sidewalks that YOUR TREES have destroyed. I mean if it was my truck, or my kids Bicycle that caused damage to your building or scratched a police car, I would be held responsible. But you and your double standards make the home owners responsible for YOUR DAMAGE. How about this Depew. How about I not mow your section of grass? How about you maintain it. Or how about you PAY ME to mow YOUR GRASS. How about you accept some responsibility and replace the sidewalks that YOU and YOUR TREES have destroyed. How about you actually use the exorbitant amount of tax dollars that you charge me yearly towards fixing the issue that YOU CREATED.

Double Standards

I agree 100% - I had the mailman sue me because he fell and injured his thumb, his thumb no less. Turned out not to be my property but I asked the village the same question and they told me they are giving me an easement so I am responsible for the grass also.
