Brainard runs for Lancaster highway superintendent

LANCASTER- I am running for Lancaster Highway Superintendent because of my strong commitment to this town and the expertise I bring to this department is unmatched. I am a lifelong resident of the Town of Lancaster. I want my daughters to be able to afford to grow up here and someday raise their own families here. I am not only a Lancaster property owner but a Lancaster business owner as well. I want to work with Dino Fudoli to continue fiscal responsibility for our town.
I will focus on accountability to and personal interaction with the taxpayers of Lancaster. I will personally respond to all questions and concerns. I will insure fiscal responsibility by allowing open all bidding to all vendors – especially for our local businesses. This style of leadership will mean less tax dollars and more savings for all Lancaster residents.
Immediately, I will take a 10 percent pay cut and discontinue the stipend for the drainage committee. I hold a valid NYS CDL Class A license which means I am qualified and legal to operate all Town of Lancaster machinery and equipment. I have more than 30 years of hands-on experience in the transportation industry and a strong, proven commitment to our community. I am a member of the Lancaster Lions Club, Lancaster Moose Lodge and a parishioner of Sacred Heart Parish, in addition to being an active supporter and sponsor of local youth sports teams.
