Buffalo Pride Week is proud to present our first art exhibition curated by and comprised of LGBTQ artists from throughout Western New York. Chroma - on view from May 31 to June 5 - celebrates the cultural depth of the LGBTQ community in our region. The exhibition features artworks from Brian Dickenson, Mickey Harmon, Tommy Nguyensmith, Alexandra Spaulding, CJ Szatkowski, Adam Weekley, Marcus L. Wise and more.
The public is invited to attend an opening reception with the artists on Friday, May 31 from 6:00 - 10:00 pm. Guests 21 and older will receive a complimentary champagne.
Chroma will be held annually in memoriam of Buffalos longtime LGBTQ supporter and past Pride Center of WNY Board Member, Mr. Jim Rolls, who worked tirelessly in life to support both Buffalos arts and LGBTQ community.

DETAILS
The Dyke March brings together womyn to celebrate dyke and queer identity, love and diversity. We include those who are questioning and challenging gender constructs and the social definitions of womyn, and welcome ALL who support dykes to march with us. The rally showcases our communitys phenomenal artists, critical thinkers and political activists, and participants are representative f each race, class and age group.
This event is about womyn claiming their space, being visible in that space, and going into their daily lives expecting and receiving the respect that they deserve. Join us as we celebrate Dyke diversity!
MARCH ROUTE
March line up will take place between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM in the parking lot of Kleinhans Music Hall, located at 3 Symphony Circle, Buffalo, NY 14201 (corner of North & Symphony Circle). The March will step-off promptly at 5:00 PM and proceed east on North Street, south along Elmwood Avenue, turn east onto Allen Street and travel through Allentown. The March completes at the Allen Street Festival, a block party on Allen Street between Franklin and Pearl. March participants will have free admission to the Allen Street Festival.

The Niagara County SPCA Hyde Park Hound Hike is being held in memory of Pat Scrufari, who lost his life while trying to save his dog from the icy Hyde Park Lake in Niagara Falls, in Feb 2012. It is also in honor of those who responded to this emergency, and everyone that loves their animals the way Pat loved his. Pats 3 Golden Retrievers will be leading the Hound Hike with their new family, the Cacciatores.
Please join us on Saturday June 1st, from 11 2pm, with registration beginning at 10am.
