2. ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible to win this contest you must be a legal resident of the United States, reside in one of the ten counties located in the Buffalo, NY DMA and be at least 18 years of age.
3. CONTEST PERIOD
The "Christmas TreeÓ contest opens at 12:00 am (midnight) on Wednesday November 21st, 2012, and closes at 11:59 pm on Wednesday December 6th, 2012 ("Contest Period"). Metro Group Inc. reserves the right to extend or end the contest at anytime without notice.
4. HOW TO ENTER
All Entrants will be required to fill out an online entry form on Metrowny.com in full in order to be qualified to win. Entrants must enter their name, a valid email address and a phone number in order to be eligible to win. Failure to provide this information, or entering false or inaccurate information, will result in disqualification.
A person may visit MetroWNY.com each day to click on as many Christmas tree icons has he/she can find. There are an unlimited amount of Christmas trees a person can click on. Trees can be found on the different pages of MetroWNY.com as well. Once clicked, the trees will disappear.
The person with the highest amount of Christmas trees found will be announced the winner. The winner will be announced Friday, December 7th, 2012.
5. CONTEST TERMS OF SUBMISSION
By submitting an entry, the entrant states, represents and warrants that they are a legal resident of the United States, reside in one of the ten counties located in the Buffalo, NY DMA and is at least 18 years of age. Employees of PerryÕs Nurseries & Garden Center, Metro Group, Inc. and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
6. SELECTION OF WINNERS
The person who found the highest amount of Christmas trees on MetroWNY.com will be announced the winner.
The winner shall be announced no later than Friday December 7th, 2012 and will be contacted via telephone and/or email.
Winner will have seven (7) days to acknowledge that they have been notified of the contest results. After seven (7) days the prize will be forfeited and a new winner will be chosen.
Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded. If prize email notification is returned as undeliverable, and/or the phone number given upon entry of the contest is not valid, the prize will be forfeited.
To avoid forfeiting of prize, please provide a valid email address and check your junk/spam email folder in the event that your notification email is treated as such.
After the winner has been picked there will be an interview and photo-op set up between Metro Group, Inc. and the winner. The photos and interview will be published in select Metro Group publications. By entering the contest you agree to this. Failure to fulfill this requirement will result in disqualification from all further Metro Group contests.
7. PRIZE DETAILS
PerryÕs Nurseries and Garden Center is giving away a free Christmas tree.
WINNER CANNOT CHOOSE TO ACCEPT THE VALUE OF SAID PRIZE IN CASH. WINNER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL TAXES ASSOCIATED WITH WINNING SAID PRIZE.
8. GENERAL CONDITIONS
Metro Group Inc. reserves the right to disqualify any submission, if such submission is found to be in violation of any of the stated rules, regulations and stipulations.
By entering this contest you are agreeing to allow Metro Group, Inc. to use all provided information for purposes of marketing, advertising and general lead list purposes. By entering your email in the "Email" field you agree to let Metro Group Inc. contact you via email alerts about future contests, specials, upcoming events, coupons, Cool Deals, and other special offers and information. Metro Group, Inc. will NOT share your information with anyone.
9. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILTY AND RELEASE
By entering this contest you agree to release Metro Group, Inc. of any liabilities regarding the receipt of your prize if you are chosen as the winner. Metro Group, Inc.'s responsibility and liability ends as soon as the contest ends and the winner is chosen and contacted.
Once the winner is picked, Metro Group, Inc. is no longer involved in any transaction or correspondence with the winner of the contest in any way shape or form regarding the receipt of the prize. All arrangements concerning receipt of said prize will be handled exclusively between the winner and PerryÕs Nurseries and Garden Center.
